In Maui

We started our 30h trip from Varberg to Maui at 3.oo am. The board bag, 4 boards, sailbag, 4 sails and two normal suitcases. As always people look strangely. The braver ones even ask if there is a boat in the bag:-)

As you never know what kind of person is behind the counter. You never know what to pay. This time it was 55 Euro x 2. That is quite allright!

Last Day...

So, tomorrow I'm off to Maui for a month of windsurfing, surfing and loads more fun things!

Went to work all week by bike. Between 0 and -19 celsius. Takes me forever to dress and undress myself. So much snow and ice. Cold. Slippery. Dark...

Åsa and Sunningen

Due to work Saturday and Sunday I did some spotchecking in The Uddevalla region. Bohuslän coast was the only place with wind so that was fine.
Saturday we went to Lysekil and Sunday we did some windsurfing at Sunningen.

The weekend was totally flatwater, as it is in Bohuslän.
Tuesday presented with loads of wind in the Halland coast. After work on Tuesday I packed my car and went for a ride to Åsa. Nice waves but hell it was windy. I had 3.5 and Ola's 66l Starboard Quad and was madly overpowered. But it felt great to be out there in the waves!!!

I love windsurfing!!!

My last day of summer vacation I finally got do do some windsurfing.

Skeet and cajak

My dear neighbour Daniel takes me out on even more adventures. Tuesday we ment to the woods and did some skeet (lerduvor) shooting. It was my first time. It was really hard.
I got 25 shots and I was exhausted after that.

On Wednesday Daniel and I went cayaking with Friluftsfrämjandet on the lake Vänern. We rented cayaks and started in Vänersborg and paddled to Ursand. Quite nice little ride.

Kuau delivered some big waves. The smallest sets were mast high!
We had 7 swimmers due to broken gear and light winds!

I went out and caught a couple of big ones. I do have respect for the amount of water in the wave, so I sailed quite safe.

After the grand day we sat on the log with some beer and admired the sunset and the sets rolling in..

Wednesday we had a SUP and surfsession at Kanaha. No wind and glassy waves.
