Running and surfing

A couple of days of running and surfing.
The running is done in Makawao forrest reserve at 3000ft in a loop that goes halfway up and down the rest in a zig zag pattern:-)

Trails for biking, running and hiking.

The evenings has been dedicated to surfing. So again Baby beach has done the job. It is really difficult to get in the water due to rocks. Even more difficult to get out off the water...
But you get all the waves by yourself...

Lesson of the day:
The last eruption of Maui's volcano was 400 years ago.
It was thought that the last eruption was as recent as 1790, but radio-carbon dating of the youngest lava flows indicate that the last eruption was actually between 1480-1600
